Contributor Spotlight: Kay Whitt

Welcome to the fifth post in our Contributor Spotlight series, where we're introducing you to some of the fabulous designers and artists who will have work featured in our upcoming premier issue. Today we're featuring the lovely Kay Whitt, author of the bestselling book Sew Serendipity, its just-released followup Serendipity Bags and is the designer behind Serendipity Studio patterns. She designed this three dimensional poinsettia pin using overdyed wool, and whipped up her Catherine Coat pattern in cream wool to accompany it. The instructions for the poinsettia can be found in the magazine, and you can purchase the coat pattern right here on Kay's website.

Kay also keeps up with a blog where she shares studio news, current happenings, new samples, how-to's and techniques and more. Check it out at blog.sewserendipity.com!

We're excited that Kay's books Sew Serendipity and Sew Serendipity Bags are now available in our web store - at a discounted price! Check them out here.

Visit Kay's website to view and order from her complete pattern line! Be sure to check out her articles in our first issue (order online now or find it in most craft, hobby & bookstores October 18). Stay tuned for our next Contributor Spotlight for a sneak peek at another one of our amazing designers!
