  4. Here are some links to my facebook page were there are photos of my fall project that I have been working on, I wish I had a machine that could keep up with me, I love the oranges and black in the fabric. To me it will be perfect to stay on my couch all fall long until it is time for my Christmas quilt to come out. My fall quilt is going to be in a simple "drunkards path" block. I can"t wait for it to be done.

  8. I'm actually making a custom clutch this weekend for a very special girlfriend of mine. It will look like this clutch, however it will be done with cream for the main colour, and chocolate brown satin for the ruffles and lining of the purse to match her wedding colours:

I really want to post a blog on it, but I can't just yet, as it's a complete and utter surprise to her that I'm making it for her!!! I knew she couldn't afford to buy one, and she's been a good friend for 16 years. :) Please don't disqualify me for not posting it on my blog! She's getting married on the 22nd, so I have to keep it very hush-hush until then. I can't even post photos on my Facebook Fan Page because she could see it! I will, however, post a blog about it with all the photos of the fabrics and patterns and everything once her wedding is over. :) Which means I should still be within the deadline of the 27th!

  9. I started to use singer sewing machines since I was seven years old :) from my grandmother and my mom's singer machines. It would be nice to have a new one. ;) Plus, every year I make Christmas stockings, and ornaments and anything that really has to do with sewing. This would really help :)

I really wanted to make some stacked burlap pumpkins, but a friend of mine gave me some beautiful fiber art pumpkins. So that's off my list. Now I think a burlap table runner, some fall pillows and maybe some machine felting are on the list. Of course, I can't make it through fall without making some beautiful house accents, like maybe some new curtains...

  14. I have soooo many projects planned for the fall! I have been using a toaster size machine, that only has one stitch, and jams constantly! So anything that requires more that two pieces I have been doing by hand. (boy is that time consuming) This year I plan on making 90% of the gifts I will be giving for the Holidays. I also plan on making and donating scarves and quilts like the one on my board to local homeless and animal shelters. I have wanted a real machine for years but being a military family our budget just doesn't have room for it! Thank you for an Amazing opportunity! Here is my board link filled with my project ideas, inspirations, and some color schemes! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do! New pins added as I am inspired. http://pinterest.com/um4uorme/simple-fall-sewing/

It's my favorite time of year, and I'd love to put away all of the everyday pillows and blankets in the living room in favor of the seasonal patterns and fabrics on my idea board. My couch is a dark red and the curtains are goldenrod, so this should all come together perfectly!

  36. Hi,
Lately I have sewn less than I really want but manage to sew two dresses for my grandaughter and shirts for my boys( men) jiji for fathers day.
I am inspired to sew these nice placemats I saw. Have a pattern and have done some searching for the fabric. I am actually in the hospital for my second consolidation on chemotherapy for Leukemia. But couldn't let go this opportunity, standing here in the hallway to my room. This is the great thing to have handy your cellular phone and laptop.

  49. http://pinterest.com/kbees12/fall-for-buffalo-plaid/ My fall project board, is for a bathroom in our home. Our home is cabin decor, but not in a cabin or a log home. Every room has a theme, front room is deer and elk, the kitchen is roosters, master bath is outdoor winter fun, which includes snow shoes being used for hand towel holders. Any how, you get the idea. So the guest bath will continue the rustic appeal with buffalo plaid and black bears. I hope you enjoy my vision. Thank you!
